- Arrive on time. Things happen and occasionally you may be late. Please enter the room quietly! It is disrespectful to slam the door or snap release your mat once class has begun. Enter only after the class has begun to move, not during meditation or centering.
- Leave ALL personal belongings in the locker room or cubbies. This includes cell phones. No shoes are to be worn in the yoga room at any time.
- Dress in comfortable, nonrestrictive clothing. Baggie clothes tend to get in the way. Be prepared to sweat, class are heated 80-85 degrees, some even warmer (gentle, prenatal, senior classes 78 degrees).
- Bring a yoga mat, towel and water. We do have rental mats and towels, and mats and water for sale.
- Please be courteous of others. Cell phones, jewelry, strong perfumes, conversations during class and chewing gum are distracting to others. Treat mats as personal space and try to avoid walking on any except your own.
- Come with an empty stomach. Allow 2-3 hours digestion after a large meal.
- Inform teacher of any injuries or health issues that may affect your practice. If you are injured skip or modify poses
- If you must leave class early please do so BEFORE Savasana, not during, and let the teacher know ahead of time. Remember Savasana is essential to a balanced practice.
- If you need to leave early, allow yourself a few minutes in corpse pose to reap the benefits.
- Pick up and neatly put away any props that you use, place dirty towels in proper place and clean rental mats with the tea tree oil disinfectant spray provided.
- Come with an open mind and heart. Release expectations, open your mind, trust the process, have fun!
